The history of Salesforce could be traced back to 1999 when Marc Benioff (Benioff) decided to leave a lucrative sales career at Oracle Corporation to pursue his dream. Benioff started Salesforce in a small apartment in Telegraph Hill in San Francisco along with three others, Parker Harris (Harris), Dave Moellenhoff (Moellenhoff), and Frank Dominguez (Dominguez).
